We are pleased to present the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2005. Each year since 1996 the City has been awarded the prestigious national Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, the City must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized CAFR whose contents conform to program standards. The CAFR must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.
