Three Annexation Meetings to Discuss the Plan of Intent

Meeting #1 -      Wednesday, October 17th   - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  At City Hall, 320 E. McCarty

Meeting #2 -      Wednesday, October 17th   – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  At City Hall, 320 E. McCarty

Meeting #3 -      Saturday, November 3rd – 10:00 a.m. – noon.  At Southridge Baptist Church 1815 Vieth Dr

The City Council invites the public to attend one of these meetings to review the draft Plan of Intent for the proposed annexation of an area along Hwy 179 - Rt C /Capital Hills Subdivision


Public Hearing Notice

The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, November 13, 2007, in the City Council Chambers of the John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri to consider an ordinance to annex the following described property below. 

AREA – RT. C/CAPITAL HILLS AREA

All of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23; all of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23; part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23; part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23; part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22; part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22; all of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22; part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22; and part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, all in Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the County of Cole, Missouri; being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at the southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence northerly along the east line of the West Half of the West Half of said Section 23 (the quarter quarter section line) to a point, said point being the intersection of said east line with the southerly line of Lot J of Ridgeview Estates, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page 24, of the Cole County Recorder’s Office; thence leaving said east line, and west along said southerly line of Lot J, to the southwest corner thereof; thence northerly along the westerly line of said Lot J, to the northwest corner thereof, said northwest corner being on the southerly line of Foxbar Terrace (formerly known as Eagle’s Nest Court); thence easterly along the northerly lines of said Lot J and Lot K of said Ridgeview Estates, the southerly line of said Foxbar Terrace to a point, said point being the intersection of the said south line with the aforementioned east line of the West Half of the West Half of said Section 23, Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence northerly along said east line to a point, said point being the intersection of said quarter quarter section line with the easterly line of Rolling Hills Drive, and said point being 38.45 feet south of the northwest corner of Lot No. 84 of Neutzler’s Early American Subdivision, Section One, as per plat of record in Plat Book 10, Page 40, of the Cole County Recorder’s Office; thence northerly along the easterly line of said Rolling Hills Drive to the intersection of said easterly line with the northerly line of Lexington Drive; thence  easterly along the northerly line of said Lexington Drive to southwest corner of Lot No. 87 of said Neutzler’s Early American Subdivision, Section One; thence north along the west line of Lot Nos. 87,  89, 90, 91, 92, and 39 of said Neutzler’s Early American Subdivision, Section One, and the northerly extension thereof to a point, said point being the intersection of said west line and the aforementioned quarter quarter section line; thence north along said quarter quarter section line to the north line of Plymouth Rock Drive; thence west along the north line of said Plymouth Rock Drive to the southwest corner of Lot No. 38 of said Neutzler’s Early American Subdivision, Section One; thence north along the west line of Lot Nos. 38 and 14 and the northerly extension thereof to a point on the north line of Yorktown Drive, said point being 20.00 feet east of the southwest corner of Lot No. 13 of said Neutzler’s Early American Subdivision, Section One; thence westerly along the north right-of-way line of said Yorktown Drive to the easterly right-of-way line of the aforementioned Rolling Hills Drive; thence northwesterly along the easterly right-of-way line of said Rolling Hills Drive to the north line of Section 23, Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence N85°40’36”W, along the north line of said Section 23, 1133.18 feet to the northwest corner of said Section 23, said corner being common to Sections 14, 15, 22, and 23 of Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence S00°51’30”W, along the west line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 23, 1380.18 feet, to the southwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence S88°35’43”W, along the north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, 1326.93 feet, to the northwest corner thereof, said corner also being the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 22; thence west along the north line of said quarter quarter section, 818.26 feet to a point on the east line of a tract as described in Book 252, Page 205, of the Cole County Recorder’s Office; thence south along the east line of said tract and the southerly extension thereof; said east line being parallel to the west line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 22, 1135.3 feet to the south line of Rock Ridge Road (formerly known as Mo. State Route SC); thence southerly and easterly along the southerly and westerly line of said Rock Ridge Road the following courses: S88°37’12”E, 198.93 feet to PT Station 10+31.9, 30 feet left; on a curve to the right having a radius of 543.63 feet, an arc distance of 458.60 feet (Chord Bearing = S64°27’12”E, Chord = 445.12 feet) to PC Station 5+48.6, 30 feet left; S40°17’12”E, 97.13 feet to Station 1+50, 30 feet right of the Rte. CC connection as per plans of record for Missouri State Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Project S-169(1): thence continuing southerly along the west line of said Rte. CC connection the following courses: S18°29’07”E, 53.85 feet to Station 2+00, 50 feet right; S36°13’22”E, 211.66 feet to PC Station 4+11.13, 65 feet right; S31°35’45”E, 47.78 feet to Station 4+65, 70 feet right; S24°43’14”E, 209.86 feet to Station 99+50 of Rte. C, 270 left; S13°21’44”E, 155.77 feet to Station 100+92, 120 feet left; S45°18’18”W, 20.52 feet to Station 100+78, 105 feet left; S21°34’12”W, 190.71 feet to Station 100+15, 75 feet right; S28°47’56”E, 302.67 feet to Station 13+15 of the aforementioned Rte. CC connection, 114 feet right; S29°02’51”E, 147.62 feet to PC Station 164+55.3 Mo Rte CC (formerly Route 15 as per plans of record of MoDOT), 30 feet right; thence continuing south along the west line of said Mo. Rte. CC., on a curve to the right having a radius of 275.74 feet, an arc distance of 267,30 feet (Chord Bearing = S01°07’28”E, Chord = 256.95 feet) to PT Station 167+49.6, 30 feet right; S26°38’48”W, 301.30 feet to PC Station 170+50.9, 30 feet right; on a curve to the left having a radius of 911.90 feet, an arc distance of 565.01 feet (Chord Bearing = S08°53’48”W, Chord = 556.01 feet) to PT Station 175+97.1, 30 feet right; S08°51’12”E, 286.20 feet to PC Station 178+83.3, 30 feet right ; on a curve to the right having a radius of 543.76 feet, an arc distance of 187.76 feet (Chord Bearing = S01°02’19”W, Chord = 186.82 feet) to the intersection of said west line of Missouri Rte.
