The 6th - 7th grade girls softball program is held cooperatively between the Parks and Recreation Department and the Jefferson City School District. Children interested in playing should register at their school during registration for the 2007-2008 school year. Each participating school will form the team rosters and recruit the coaches.

Anyone interested in coaching their child’s team should contact the school. Schools will receive a program packet detailing the rules and policies.

Games will be played on Monday evenings for 6th grade and Tuesday evenings for 7th grade at the Optimist Sports Complex in Ellis-Porter Park. Schools need to turn in rosters to the Parks and Recreation Department by Friday, August 24. Games will begin the week of September 10.
