The Department of Parks and Recreation offers youth softball leagues for girls 9 & under through 12 & under. All participants must register by 5 p.m., March 14 according to their age as of January 1, 2008. After 5 p.m., March 14, players are not guaranteed placement on a team. Coaches will contact their players when teams are formed. Teams will be formed by school. Once teams are selected, players will not be switched from one team to another for any reason. Players not contacted by April 7 should call the Parks and Recreation office at 634-6482. Games begin the week of May 12 and the last possible make-up day is August 2.

Sponsors are needed for these leagues (please call 634-6482 for more information).
Players furnish their own gloves, pants, socks, and shoes. Metal spikes are not permitted.
EVERYONE PLAYS!
1) Continuous batting order and unlimited substitutions are used in all leagues for any player who has been to practice and has not been a discipline problem.
2) No participant will sit out more than two innings defensively in any game. Rules mandating infield playing time are used in pitching machine leagues only.

Fees will increase $10 for those allowed to register after the March 16 deadline in leagues where there are still spaces available.
